Kalesar National Park Ticket Cost

The Haryana Forest Department fee sheet lists ₹30 for an adult and ₹10 for a child or student.

Safari jeep hire is separate. Registered local jeeps are permitted to enter the National Park and the vehicle charge is paid to the jeep owner according to the prevailing local hiring rate.

Safari Routes

Three motorable routes have been delineated for visitors, together offering roughly 16 km of forest road. The routes pass through sal forest, stream beds and lower Shivalik terrain.

Because the park is small and densely wooded, the experience is more about forest atmosphere and birdlife than high-frequency sightings of large predators.

Wildlife at Kalesar

Leopards are the most significant resident carnivores. Elephants move into the area from the Rajaji side, while tiger presence is occasional rather than permanent.

Sambar, barking deer, wild boar, rhesus macaques and red junglefowl are among the more likely species.
